WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a Radiology Technician for a contract assignment at a prestigious hospital system in Jamaica, New York.

Job Function:

\n

• Day Shift.
\n
• 5x7: 10am - 6pm.
\n

• Follow physicians’ instructions on the specific area of the patient’s body requiring imaging.

  \n
\n

• Guide patients through the procedure, addressing questions to ease concerns and reduce stress.

  \n
\n

• Adhere to proper techniques and protocols, including patient shielding, to minimize radiation exposure to patients and staff.

  \n
\n

• Maintain patient records and manage radiology supply inventory, anticipating needs and placing orders as necessary.

  \n
\n

• Ensure a safe, clean, and compliant working environment at all times.

  \n
\n

Job Requirements:

\n

• 1 year of Radiology Technician experience in this field.

  \n
\n

• Valid Radiologic Technologist license issued by the New York State Department of Health (NYSDOH) required.

\n
