Job Description & RequirementsWCS Healthcare is currently seeking an Operating Room Nurse for a contract assignment at a Prestigious Hospital in Brooklyn, NY.
Job Function:
\n\n
Provide safe, competent, and quality nursing care to a designated group of patients, grounded in nursing theory and research.
\nCirculate and scrub during a variety of surgical procedures, including orthopedic, neuro, gynecological, general surgery, and laparoscopic cases.
\nAssist physicians and surgeons in the operating room while accurately documenting patient care and participating in quality improvement initiatives.
\nApply the nursing process in all aspects of care, including cardiac arrest intervention, pain management, and the management of diverse diseases and surgical procedures.
\nMaintain composure and effectiveness while working in high-pressure, stressful environments.

Job Requirements:
\n\n
Current license as a Professional Registered Nurse in New York State.
\nCritical Care experience required.
\nBCLS and ACLS certifications required.
\n1 year nursing experience, ideally in the Operating Room (OR).
