WCS Healthcare is currently seeking an Operating Room Nurse for a contract assignment at a Prestigious Hospital in Brooklyn, NY.

Job Function:

\n

\n

• Day Shift.
\n
• 7am - 3pm.
\n

• Provide safe, competent, and quality nursing care to a designated group of patients, grounded in nursing theory and research.

  \n
\n

• Circulate and scrub during a variety of surgical procedures, including orthopedic, neuro, gynecological, general surgery, and laparoscopic cases.

  \n
\n

• Assist physicians and surgeons in the operating room while accurately documenting patient care and participating in quality improvement initiatives.

  \n
\n

• Apply the nursing process in all aspects of care, including cardiac arrest intervention, pain management, and the management of diverse diseases and surgical procedures.

  \n
\n

• Maintain composure and effectiveness while working in high-pressure, stressful environments.

  \n
\n

\n

\n

\n

Job Requirements:

\n

\n

• Current license as a Professional Registered Nurse in New York State.

  \n
\n

• Critical Care experience required.

  \n
\n

• BCLS and ACLS certifications required.

  \n
\n

• 1 year nursing experience, ideally in the Operating Room (OR).

  \n
\n

\n
