Soloh Partners is seeking a local contract nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a local contract nursing job in Bronx, New York.

Position: Certified Medical Coders - Outpnt & ED (000296)
Location: Bronx, NY
Pay Rate: $ 38/hr
Schedule: 8:00 AM-4:00 PM

 
Duties:
- Medical coding in an acute care setting.
-  Must possess proficient computer skills (e.g., MS Word, Excel, ICD 9 CM, CPT 4, Encoder);
- knowledge of coding guidelines, payor guidelines, federal billing guidelines;
- knowledge of anatomy, physiology & disease processes;
- Ability to research coding related issues; competence in coder training;
- Must have CCS and knowledgeable with 3M/HDS coding application.
- Inpatient and ED experience.

 
Requirements:
- Three years experience Knowledge of ICD10
- High School Diploma/GED, AHIMA, RHIA or RHIT and/or CCP, CCS,
- Candidate with both in/out-patient coding experience will be ideal.
- CCS Certification is required.
