Job Description

Our client is looking for a full-time Legal Assistant with at least three (3) years of experience in a law firm setting, particularly in Commercial Litigation. This role involves a variety of legal administrative tasks, providing comprehensive and efficient support to the litigation team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, proofread, and edit legal documents
• Manage calendars and schedule court appearances, depositions, meetings, and hearings
• E-file documents with Federal and Florida State Courts
• Assist with trial preparation and organize client materials
• Handle time entry and client billing
• Perform administrative duties such as client file management, general correspondence, and expense reports

Essential Skills:

• Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with iManage and Aderant is a plus
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
• Confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive information

Requirements:

• High school diploma
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a law firm setting, with a focus on litigation
• Experience with trial preparation and litigation in State and Federal courts
