Leasing Agent with Great Growth Opportunity

Property Solutions & Services, Inc., (PSS) provides property management and real estate consulting services to owners and non-profit organizations within the Twin Cities. For the past 30 years, we have successfully managed affordable housing for lower income individuals and families, and we are looking for new talent to join our growing company. This is an entry level position for those with at least 1 year of leasing and/or administrative experience.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Displays the knowledge and skills required to understand the rules and processes of affordable housing occupancy cycles
  • Market units by taking photos, creating brochures/fliers and posting on various housing websites and to applicable agencies
  • Track unit availability, along with unit rates and features
  • Respond to all prospective applicants via phone, email, text and online
  • Track all prospective applicants in an organized manner
  • Provide instruction and support to prospective waitlist applicants during the application process
  • Schedule and conduct property and apartment tours
  • Prepare and review property information packets with applicants
  • Manage and follow-up on leasing and application paperwork
  • Collect all necessary documentation to verify program and income eligibility

Requirements for consideration:

  • 1+ years of leasing experience or administrative experience
  • Reliable vehicle with proof of insurance
  • Strong computer skills in Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Knowledge of affordable housing regulations a plus
  • Previous Yardi experience a plus

The starting salary is $24.50 per hour.

We offer a benefits package with medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, 401K matching up to 4% plus cell phone & mileage reimbursement.

The hours for the position are Monday-Friday, 8:00 am-4:30 pm.
