Job Title: Landscape Architect / Landscape Designer
Location: Rochester, New York
**Wide salary range accounts for experience level. Licensed applicants are on the high end. 0-3 years of experience on the lower end. Will discuss more in depth upon 1st call.
Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled Landscape Architect with a valid license to fill a key role within our firm. We also welcome applications from aspiring Landscape Designers who are not yet licensed. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of projects that include residential, commercial, and public spaces.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop innovative landscape designs that meet client needs and project requirements.
- Collaborate with clients, architects, and engineers throughout the design process.
- Prepare detailed drawings, plans, and specifications using design software.
- Conduct site analysis and environmental assessments.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budgets.
Qualifications:
- For Landscape Architect role: Must possess a valid landscape architect license in New York State.
- For Landscape Designer role: A degree in landscape architecture or a related field is preferred; candidates without a license are welcome.
- Strong knowledge of landscape design principles, plant materials, and construction methods.
- Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite).
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
