Job Summary
We are seeking a Java / Angular Full-Stack Developer with strong integration and automation experience and deep geospatial expertise, including ESRI technologies, to design and deliver enterprise applications that leverage spatial data, automation workflows, and system integrations.
This role focuses on building scalable backend services and modern web interfaces that integrate ESRI GIS platforms with enterprise systems to support data visualization, spatial analytics, and operational decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop full-stack applications using Java (Spring Boot) and Angular.
Build integration and automation services connecting ESRI GIS platforms with enterprise systems.
Develop APIs and microservices to process, transform, and serve geospatial data.
Implement automation workflows using Python for geospatial data ingestion, transformation, and analysis.
Build Angular UI components for map-based visualization, spatial dashboards, and interactive layers.
Integrate ESRI services such as ArcGIS REST APIs, feature services, and map services.
Ensure performance, scalability, and accuracy of geospatial and automation services.
Collaborate with GIS analysts, data engineers, and platform teams.
Required Technical Skills
Java (8+/11+), Spring Boot, REST APIs
Angular, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS
Strong integration and automation experience
Python for scripting, automation, and geospatial data processing
ESRI technologies, including:
ArcGIS Enterprise / ArcGIS Online
ArcGIS REST Services
Feature Services, Map Services, and Geocoding Services
Strong understanding of geospatial concepts (coordinates, projections, layers)
SQL databases; exposure to spatial extensions preferred
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with ArcGIS JavaScript API
Familiarity with spatial data formats (GeoJSON, Shapefiles, Esri JSON)
Experience with spatial databases (PostGIS, Oracle Spatial, or similar)
Experience integrating third-party APIs and enterprise platforms
Exposure to cloud platforms and containerized deployments
Background in transportation, logistics, utilities, or asset-tracking systems
