IT Help Desk Technician III – Temp to Hire | $27/hr | Green Bay, WI | M-F 8-5
We are recruiting for an experienced IT Help Desk Technician III for a client in the Green Bay area ! This temp-to-hire position offers $27/hr and is onsite Monday through Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM.
About the Role:
As a senior-level IT support professional, you’ll be the primary escalation point for complex technical issues, mentor junior team members, and ensure top-notch service for the client’s internal and external users. You’ll troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues, administer SharePoint, support servers, assist with system upgrades and deployments, and help maintain IT systems to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Resolve complex technical issues escalated from Level I & II technicians.
Troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, servers, and network equipment.
Administer and maintain SharePoint sites and permissions.
Mentor and train junior team members.
Document solutions and best practices in the ticketing system.
Install, configure, and maintain IT systems and servers for the client.
Support system upgrades, migrations, and deployments.
Collaborate with vendors and third-party support as needed.
Ensure compliance with company policies, security standards, and SLAs.
Deliver excellent customer service through professional communication.
Requirements:
3+ years of IT support/help desk experience, ideally in a managed services or multi-client environment.
Advanced knowledge of Windows & Mac OS, Office 365, Active Directory, networking fundamentals, and common business applications.
Experience with SharePoint administration and server management .
Strong cybersecurity awareness and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and multitasking abilities.
Industry certifications (CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft) preferred.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for onsite support in Green Bay.
