Job Title: Industrial Spray Painter/Blaster

Work Hours: M-F, 8am - 5pm; Every so often a Saturday

Benefits: The company provides Holiday pay and health insurance

PAY: $18hr-$22hr DOE. The company is open to negotiating a competitive salary based on the candidate's experience and qualifications. We believe in recognizing talent and are willing to pay above the posted range if necessary.

Job Summary:
Company in Franklinton is seeking a skilled Industrial Spray Painter to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of paint and coating products, including mixing, tinting, and application techniques. This role also requires maintaining a clean and organized job site.

Essential Functions:

• Communicate daily with managers to determine painting requirements.
• Paint industrial parts large valves and manufactured parts.
• Protect surfaces not being painted using tape and other coverings techniques.
• Set up and use ventilation and safety equipment.
• Prepare surfaces for painting by washing, filling defects with putty, and sanding to achieve a smooth finish.
• Apply primers and sealers as needed.
• Mix paints according to job specifications.
• Utilize spray gum to apply paint and finish.
• Maintain an inventory of painting supplies.
• Clean machines, equipment, and work areas daily.
• Adhere to safety protocols, rules, and regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• Experience with spray painting and knowledge of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
• Ability to use a mill test gauge to ensure adequate paint application.
• Maintain and manage spray painting supplies and equipment.
• Expected to spend approximately 70% of the time spraying and the remaining time completing paperwork and ensuring a clean work area.

Note: This position does not include sandblasting duties; however, familiarity with sandblasting and preparation processes is beneficial.
