Program Structure: Duration/Schedule: full-time during the summer months Fully Onsite Start Date: Summer 2025 What we're looking for: Enrollment in a four-year degree program in Engineering or a related field with current status of at least a Sophomore level. Cumulative GPA of 2.75 or higher. Proficient in Microsoft Office software: Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills. Ability to succeed in a team environment. Ability to handle multiple tasks. Preferred experience: Experience working in a manufacturing environment. AutoCAD experience. What you'll focus on: Participate in all aspects of engineering including process assessment, production controls, Continuous Improvement, design, and reporting/analysis. Assist in other projects and function as a resource for other team members. Learn and apply engineering concepts to improvement projects. Updating layouts: regularly modifying and refining engineering layouts to incorporate design changes, improvements, and updates. Making custom parts for machine equipment in SolidWorks - design and create custom parts tailored to specific project needs. Project management: keeping track of project timelines, resources, and deliverables.
