Job Title: Contract Illustrator

Location: Remote

Time commitment: Estimated at 10 - 20 hours/week

Cognosos is seeking a talented and creative Illustrator to help our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio showcasing their illustration skills and a keen understanding of visual storytelling. You will work closely with our marketing team to create engaging visuals that communicate the value of our product. We aren’t looking for the same-old-same old B2B design, but we’re also not trying to be hopelessly avant garde. Help us find that sweet spot of fresh but relevant.

Please note, this is not a full-time position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create high-quality illustrations for various mediums, including presentations, swag, trade show booths, websites, landing pages, digital ads, social media, and more.
• Illustrate complex concepts and make them visually engaging and easily understandable.
• Adapt existing illustrations and designs to fit specific project requirements.
• Work within and contribute to the growth of our brand system.
• Work under tight deadlines across various projects while maintaining a high standard of quality.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and provide creative input to enhance project outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an illustrator working with B2B brands.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Access to Slack is a major plus.
• Strong understanding of design principles with an ability to flex into occasional graphic design work.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Demonstrated ability to push boundaries but not lose sight of the end customer and what they need from the design.
• Ability to receive payments via Bill.com is required.
