Our laundry attendants perform a variety of duties including washing, ironing, pressing, and folding linens. Responsibilities Look at all of your linens and treat any stains that you find Put all laundry in a washing machine and follow the manufacturer's directions for adding the cleaning chemicals Inspect laundry equipment visually and report any maintenance issues to the building management Take out the clothes and linens after washing and dry them following the manufacturer's recommendations Maintain inventory of all cleaning supplies and communicate needs to general manager Qualifications Possesses a strong work ethic with exemplary organizational, time management, and communication skills At least 1 year of experience as a laundry attendant, housekeeper or similar role preferred Good understanding of commercial cleaning techniques and products This position requires the ability to lift 20 or more pounds regularly High school diploma, GED, or equivalent Compensation 14.00 - 14.50 hourly About Fairfield Inn & Suites Savannah Midtown Here in Midtown Savannah, we are known for our outstanding guest services and our family-oriented culture.
