Do you love transforming spaces into spotlessly clean sanctuaries? We’re hiring a professional housekeeper to help us ensure our hotel guests have a wonderful stay with us. You’ll perform basic cleaning duties like making beds, washing sheets, mopping, dusting, and ironing; you’ll also restock supplies and ensure restrooms and common areas are clean and orderly. Job seekers should be personable, organized, and enjoy teamwork.

Our hotel will be undergoing extensive renovations and renaming and rebranding as an upscale boutique hotel. In addition, all employees in good standing will have the ability to undergo additional training to study for positions in other departments, supervisory, or management positions as their careers develop. Our goal is to develop high-performing associates to further their careers.

$12 - $14 hourly

• Answer general questions from guests
• Clean and arrange hotel rooms in accordance with our hotel’s standards prior to guest arrival
• Track rooms cleaned and document lost and found items, damage, and repairs needed
• Manage the cleanliness of common spaces such as the hallways, public restrooms, and hotel lobby
• Make beds, strip sheets, stock rooms with toiletries, do laundry, vacuum, mop, and perform other cleaning duties as needed

• Other general cleaning duties as assigned

• Hard worker with strong time management, organizational, and communication skills
• 1+ years as a professional housekeeper or similar position
• Graduated high school, received G.E.D or equivalent
• Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques and products

• The ideal candidate is a cleaning enthusiast, a team player, and a highly-organized professional

The Lodge on Lake Oconee is a small, 80-room lakefront boutique hotel located in Eatonton, GA.

Please note that we will be completely renovating and re-branding this hotel in our transition to a mid to upper-scale boutique property.
