Job Description

Seasonal, high quality Mexican restaurant is looking for an experienced General Manager to help lead their team. The menu boasts conscientiously sourced ingredients in an inviting, upscale casual setting. The ideal candidate understands the value of good hospitality, is self-motivated and systems driven, and possesses a creative outlook and hands-on approach to leadership/training. A proven background in both full-service and counter-service concepts is ideal. Someone with a warm hospitality presence who can model a gold standard of service to both guests and staff. General Manager Responsibilities: Perform all aspects of the job with a high level of professionalism and integrity Guide and lead the team Establish a positive and fun work culture while building a strong rapport with staff Manage costs Maintain cooperative relationships with all vendors, business partners, and staff Encourage opportunities for the team to learn and grow Continually strive to educate and develop staff as it relates to food, beverage, and service Have a strong floor presence to ensure stellar guest experience in all areas Ensure quality and consistency of all products served Maintain, support and promote company culture and philosophies Ensure all equipment is kept clean and in excellent working condition Develop a positive relationship with guests Take ownership of the business to increase sales and profitability Increase brand awareness by creating marketing plans Set an example to the team by providing excellent hospitality and service at all times Anticipate needs of the restaurant and act upon them General Manager Qualifications: 1+ years’ experience as a Restaurant General Manager (GM), Food & Beverage (F&B) Director, or FOH General Manager, OR 3+ years as an Assistant Restaurant General Manager (AGM), Senior Manager, FOH Department Manager, Service Manager/Assistant General Manager, or Hospitality Manager in an upscale restaurant environment is required Experience in both full-service and counter-service concepts is highly preferred Proven track record in leading and motivating a team Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong interpersonal skills & attention to detail Effective problem-solving skills Ability to thrive in a high-pressure environment Exceptional standards for cleanliness, health, and safety Experience in managing P&L Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays Food Safety Certification Be able to stand/walk for long periods of time Develop relationships with guests to create & maintain guest retention Process driven and able to implement operating procedures that will continue to maximize efficiency Benefits Include: Base Salary in the $85-90k range DOE Bonus Potential Medical Benefits PTO Plan Job Type: Full-time Pay: $85,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year Benefits: Health insurance Paid time off Shift: 10 hour shift Work Location: In person #J-18808-Ljbffr BMRS
