****III.** **Position Summary:****

As a fuel driver attendant for Low Fuel youare at the forefront of customer service. Positive interactions with customers ensure repeat business in the future. Welcoming customers with a friendly smile and warm greeting go a long way and assures they leave with a positive impression of Low Fuel. Because every employee has also been a customer of a gas station, it is easy to know what should be expected out of a transaction. Employees should treat customers with respect and make it clear that their business is appreciated. You are responsible to consistently role model our Core Values.

* **Primary Responsibilities:**

Responsible for efficient fueling of customer vehicles safely, accurately, quickly, and courteously. Filling customers gas tanks and gasoline containers with the appropriate grade of gasoline. Communicate effectively and courteously with customers and co-workers. Maintain minimal reports at the start of your shift, during breaks, each job and at the end of your shift.

No smoking is allowed in or near the vehicle. When customers are not present, clean and maintain the exterior and interior of your vehicle. Empty trash and vacuum the interior of the vehicle.

****IV.** **Essential Position Functions and Responsibilities:****

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other minor duties may be assigned.

* Maintain punctual, regular, and predictable attendance.

* Dispensing fuel for and working with the customer.

* Oversee the safe delivery of fuel to our customers.

* Self-motivated and able to complete tasks without constant direction.

* Have passion for transportation, understands all road and safety signs, comprehends their local streets, and has an ability to deliver a world-class customer experience on behalf of Low Fuel.

* Operates vehicle in accordance with Low Fuel Safety and Life Critical Rules, OSHA (Occupational and Safety Health Act) and DOT (Department of Transportation) requirements as well as all local, state and federal laws.

* Performs pre- and post-trip inspections of assigned vehicle and documents checks utilizing the standard Low Fuel online DVIR (Driver Vehicle Inspection Report).

* Immediately reports all unsafe situations or service-related issues to your Manager.

* Works closely with your Manager to improve route efficiencies and identify best practices.

* Notify your Manager of any incidents, accidents, injures, or property damage.

* Notify your Manager of service interruptions including closed or impassable streets or alleyways, receptacles too heavy to service or potential safety hazards.

* Communicate any customer requests to your Manager (E.g. check their oil or tire pressure, windshield wipers, etc.).

* Follow route assignments as directed.

* Keep your vehicle clear of garbage and mess.

1. GED preferred

2. Some job experience preferred

****B.** **Certificates, Licenses, Registrations or Other Requirements:****

1. Current state issued CDL Class C with an (H) Hazardous Endorsement Drivers License

2. Ability to pass a drug test if asked.

3. Ability to follow safety signs and follow state regulated laws of the road.

4. Able to operate a 2-door oversize pickup truck

**D. **Work Environment** Listed below are key points regarding environmental demands and work environment of the job.**

1. This position functions primarily outside.

2. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, extreme cold, and extreme heat.

3. The employee may be required to stand for prolonged periods of time

4. Communicate verbally and in writing.

5. Use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms. Required to use motor coordination with finger dexterity (such as keyboarding, machine operation, etc.) most of the workday.

6. Required to be exposed to physical occupational risks (such as cuts, burns, exposure to toxic chemicals, etc.) rarely.

7. Required to be exposed to physical environment which involves dirt, odors, noise, weather extremes or similar elements most of the workday.

****A.** **Work includes:****

1. **Day Shift**: 6am 2pm Monday through Friday

2. **Evening Shift:** 2pm 10pm Monday through Friday

**3.** **Weekends**

**a)** **Saturday**

(1) Day Shift: 6am 2pm Saturday

(2) Evening Shift: 2pm 10pm Saturday

**b) Sunday**

(1) Day Shift: 8am 2pm Sunday

(2) Evening Shift: 2pm 8pm Sunday
