A cold storage forklift driver operates a forklift in a freezer or refrigerated warehouse to move, stack, and unload goods. Responsibilities include loading and unloading trucks, managing inventory, conducting equipment inspections, and following safety and company guidelines in a very cold environment.


Key duties

• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment to move materials.
• Load and unload products from delivery trucks.
• Stack, rack, and move goods to and from storage areas.
• Use hand scanners or other equipment to track inventory and fill orders.
• Perform routine inspections on equipment to ensure safety and report any maintenance needs.
• Follow all safety regulations, including those for working in cold temperatures.
• Keep the work area clean and organized.
