Uncle Ray’s is a Potato Chip and Snack Manufacturing company that has been in business since 1965. Uncle Ray’s was founded under the principle of manufacturing good potato chips made by ordinary folks for the common people.

Uncle Ray’s currently has two manufacturing facilities, the flagship manufacturing facility remains in operation in Detroit MI and our newest state of the art facility is in Montgomery City MO.

Job Summary:

The Production Supervisor is responsible for a broad range of duties that support peak efficiency for Line Operations throughout the production day. The individual must be an excellent communicator with all levels of management and production associates. They must be organized, adapt quickly, detail oriented, and proficient in Microsoft Outlook. Excellent attendance is a must. Upon being hired all new employees will be eligible for holiday pay.

The responsibility of the Production Supervisor is to be well versed in all aspects of food manufacturing which would include a well-rounded understanding of the needs of each role on the production floor, demonstrating strong versatility throughout a production shift, and can easily adapt to the constant needs of the production demand and schedule.

The Production Supervisor is responsible for training, planning, coordinating, and supervising of the daily production to ensure we efficiently run high quality products. They will ensure that all tasks are performed safely, efficiently, and accurately. Our corporate strategy is to produce a quality product manufactured to always meet SQF standards.

Responsibilities:

· Provide inspired leadership for the organization.

· Help promote a company culture that encourages top performance and high morale.

· Support and participate in the plant’s SQF and food safety programs.

· Oversee daily activities of assigned shift. Maintain daily communications with all areas of production, maintenance, procurement, warehouse, and management teams.

· Oversee the progress of all areas of production to meet the daily production schedule.

· Monitor performance of production personnel to ensure they are following Good Manufacturing Processes (GMP’s), SQF standards, and safety always.

· Visually inspect product to ensure quality, look, and taste that meets or exceeds the customer expectation.

· Carry out HACCP, SQF, personnel, and safety policies while maintaining discipline within the plant.

· Perform other various job functions as may be assigned.

· Support the development, implementation, maintenance, and ongoing improvement of production processes.

· Look for opportunities to assist operators and production team members to ensure peak efficiency throughout the line.
