Job Description

Role Overview:

Sodexo is seeking a  Food Production Manager for  Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center  located in  Boston, MA . In this role you will oversee all procurement for the Food Services operation in a 750+ bed hospital, supporting 3 separate kitchens and 3 retail outlets across both campuses, as well as supporting the culinary operations of a kitchen. The Manager works primarily early morning and daytime hours Monday-Friday but will need the flexibility to work as the manager on duty every third weekend.

What You'll Do:
  • lead the purchasing across 3 kitchens in partnership with the Executive Chefs to support all food services 
  • implement and standardize all culinary systems and procedures for the hospital
  • maintain food and health & safety logs within Sodexo and hospital guidelines and requirements
  • provide direction to all front-line associates
