Job Title: Kitchen Production Supervisor

Reports to: Manager

FLSA Status: Exempt

Job Purpose:

To utilize warehouse and leadership skills to improve productivity and accuracy in the safest and most efficient way possible. This position is responsible for overseeing daily production operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Initial setup of process line.
• Conduct morning roll call.
• Conduct morning pre-operational inspection of processing room, including ATP (Authorization to Produce) and allergenic swabbing.
• Ensure proper rotation of ingredients using system programs to relocate products from storage to the pick line.
• Oversee production flow to maintain optimal efficiency.
• Focus on accurate production of finished goods.
• Verify incoming raw materials for production and ensure Batch Control Records (BCR) are complete.
• Report any ingredient violations to QA.
• Ensure the production team follows specified recipes and uses the correct ingredients.
• Ensure assembly process lines are consistently supplied with ingredients.
• Minimize the amount of Work in Process (WIP) at the end of the production day.
• Conduct weight checks to verify finished product accuracy with Line QA.
• Confirm completion of QA line duties, including check weights and metal detector verifications.
• Store finished goods within established product temperature standards.
• Supervise SKU changeovers, including cleaning and sanitizing after processing specific items to prepare for the next production run.
• Perform daily inspections to ensure proper cleaning and sanitizing of workstations, utensils, floors, and equipment.
• Monitor employee PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and adherence to personal hygiene standards, including handwashing, hairnet usage, and smock control.

• Ability to work in areas with limited headroom (72 inches).
• Work in a refrigerated environment with controlled temperatures of 32–36°F.
• Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 2 hours at a time) over an 8-hour shift.
• Occasionally work overtime, evenings, or weekends as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent and relevant certifications.
• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 25 lbs.
• Flexible schedule, including weekends and early morning shifts.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Strong attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines, and work effectively in challenging situations.
