Financial Analyst - Manufacturing
Location: Muskegon, MI 49442 (Fully Onsite)
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM

Duration: 1-Year Contract, possible permanent conversion
Pay Range: $30-$35/hr (based on experience)
Position Overview This role supports financial operations within a manufacturing environment, with a strong focus on month-end close, cost accounting, ERP system ownership, and operational financial analysis. The ideal candidate brings advanced Excel skills, hands-on experience in manufacturing finance, and ERP knowledge (Oracle preferred).
Top 3 Must-Haves - Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of financial analyst experience in a manufacturing environment
- ERP system experience (Oracle preferred) + advanced Excel skills
Key Responsibilities Month-End Close & Reporting - Complete month-end close activities and reporting
- Coordinate and update business results
- Support audit inquiries
- Perform month-end financial analysis
P&L, Balance Sheet & Cost Accounting - Manage product cost accounting activities
- Conduct absorption and direct labor hours analysis
- Review functional operational costs
- Manage inventory controls, cycle counts, aged WIP, and standard cost roll-ups
- Complete job closures, variance analysis, and material loss tracking
ERP System (Oracle Preferred)- Perform standard cost reviews and cost roll-ups
- Analyze and update Bills of Material (BOMs) and engineering routes
- Provide ERP support to cross-functional teams
Process Improvement - Assist with projects focused on streamlining financial reporting and analysis workflows
Ad Hoc Support - Complete additional data analysis and financial reporting tasks as needed
