About the Role

The Executive Director will be tasked with launching signature campaigns, restructuring the team for agility and mission alignment, and leading comprehensive fundraising strategies to ensure financial sustainability and growth. Applicants for the Executive Director position at the company should have a genuine passion for wildlife and animal conservation, with a deep appreciation for the role of the species in the ecosystem. The role demands a leader with strong change management capabilities, the ability to inspire public engagement, and a collaborative, people-centered approach. Key responsibilities include serving as the chief spokesperson, cultivating relationships with various stakeholders, and ensuring efficient, values-aligned operations. The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to secure major gifts, expand philanthropic capacity, and will be an inspirational leader with an empowering and collaborative style. A Bachelor's degree is required, with an advanced degree being a plus, and experience in overseeing a budget of over $1M is also preferred.
