The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of EFund is a critical leadership position responsible for overseeing the financial management and strategy of the organization to achieve its financial and mission impact returns. Reporting to the President/CEO, the CFO provides both strategic and operational oversight of EFund’s financial performance, risk management, and compliance through a team of staff and external consultants. The ideal CFO candidate is a forward-thinking leader with deep expertise and progressive financial leadership who pairs strategic insight with operational expertise. They will strengthen EFund’s financial strategy and stewardship, bring clarity to complex financial concepts, and build trust across internal and external stakeholders. A strong people leader, they will mentor and empower staff, foster accountability, lead through change, and build a strong culture. Successful candidates will bring expertise in financial strategy, planning, analytics, treasury management, GAAP accounting, internal controls, compliance, risk management, fundraising, and grant management, with an advanced degree, CMA, and/or CPA designation required.
