Work Schedule: The contractor is expected to be in the office from Tuesday to Thursday, with Monday & Friday as a remote workdays. They are welcome to work in the office on Monday and Fridays if they prefer.
Experience Needed: The contractor should have experience with fast-paced pipeline work in the gathering and processing of natural gas, including pig-launchers and receivers, well connects, metering, interconnects, and meter stations.
• Contract Details: This role supports the continuous needs of project work and is intended to be long-term. Generally, the contract begins with a 6-month term. The CWS office will ensure that renewal discussions involve the Manager, Supplier, and Contingent Worker to align all parties.
Contractor Requirements:
• Experience: A Piping Mechanical Designer with experience in the natural gas industry.
Design and Drafting
o Create and modify 2D and 3D piping layouts using AutoCAD and CADWorx.
o Develop various piping & mechanical drawings.
o Ensure designs comply with project specifications, industry codes (e.g., ASME, API), and company standards.
2. Checking and Review
o Review and verify piping drawings and designs for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
o Identify and resolve design discrepancies, inconsistencies, or errors.
o Cross-check designs against P&IDs, specifications, and project requirements.
