Director, Digital Trust & Safety KPMG US

Join the KPMG Advisory practice as a Director of Digital Trust & Safety, leading the development and delivery of cybersecurity strategies for key clients and driving the growth of KPMGs Digital Safety service offering.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership: develop and implement cybersecurity strategies aligned with business objectives, guiding the practice growth and setting direction for the Digital Safety service.
  • Client Engagement: act as primary point of contact for key clients, ensuring high standard of service delivery and tailoring digital safety solutions.
  • Project Oversight: oversee management of digital safety projects, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and meeting client expectations.
  • Team Leadership: lead and mentor a team of cybersecurity professionals, fostering collaboration and promoting professional development.
  • Thought Leadership: stay updated on emerging digital threats, sharing insights with clients and contributing to industry forums.
  • Collaboration: collaborate with KPMG solutions across audit, tax, advisory, integrating services into broader solutions and working with global teams.

Qualifications

  • Ten years of experience in trust and safety, compliance, risk management or emerging technologies within a digital environment.
  • Bachelors degree in business, computer science, law, or related field.
  • Minimum five years of leadership experience managing large teams in digital safety.
  • Experience handling critical incidents involving online abuse, security threats, and content moderation.
  • Deep understanding of digital platforms, community dynamics, and emerging technology risks.
  • Expertise in global regulatory frameworks, privacy laws, and compliance requirements.
  • Authorized to work in the U.S. without need for visa sponsorship now or in future (no sponsorship).
  • Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold a respectful work environment.
