Position Overview 

We are seeking a  Digital Designer  to join our Corporate Headquarters Marketing Team. This is a  design-first role  focused on creating compelling, on-brand digital and print assets that elevate GiGi’s Playhouse’s presence, strengthen engagement with families, volunteers, and donors, and ensure a cohesive visual identity across a national network. 

In addition to core graphic design responsibilities, this role supports the execution of website updates and email communications using established platforms and templates. The ideal candidate is a strong visual designer who is comfortable working within WordPress (including Beaver Builder), executing email designs in Marketing Cloud, and collaborating closely with marketing leadership to bring campaigns to life. 

This role is both strategic and hands-on, balancing creative innovation with efficient execution across web, social, email, and print. The Digital Designer will work closely with the VP of Marketing and the broader marketing team to support national initiatives, provide design support to Playhouses across the network, and maintain a vibrant, engaging digital presence that reflects GiGi’s Playhouse’s mission and brand standards. 

Key Responsibilities 

Design & Creative Execution 

  • Design high-quality digital and print marketing assets, including: 
  • Social media graphics 
  • Brochures, flyers, and print collateral 
  • Event and campaign branding 
  • Promotional merchandise 
  • Create and maintain a growing library of Canva templates for Playhouses across the network. 
  • Ensure all materials align with GiGi’s Playhouse brand standards, visual identity, and voice. 

Web & Digital Production (Support Role) 

  • Support the web designer by building and updating webpages within WordPress. 
  • Assist with maintaining the GiGi’s Playhouse Headquarters website and supporting content updates across the Playhouse Network websites. 
  • Collaborate with the web designer, developers, and marketing team to ensure accurate execution, functionality, and visual consistency across digital platforms. 

Email & Campaign Support 

  • Design email templates, banners, and visual assets within Marketing Cloud. 
  • Execute email newsletters and campaign communications in collaboration with marketing leadership. 
  • Support national marketing campaigns and segmented communications for specific audiences across the network. 

Marketing Operations & Collaboration 

  • Respond to internal design and web requests submitted through Zendesk. 
  • Provide visual support for social media and other digital touchpoints as needed. 
  • Partner closely with the VP of Marketing and PR and cross-functional teams to support organizational initiatives. 

Project Management & Execution 

  • Manage multiple design projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and quality standards. 
  • Prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced, high-output environment. 
  • Adapt to shifting priorities while maintaining attention to detail. 
  • Stay current with design trends, tools, and best practices to continuously improve output. 

 

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or related field. 
  • 3+ years of professional experience in graphic and digital design, with a strong portfolio demonstrating both digital and print work. 
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Canva. 
  • Familiarity with WordPress or other CMS platforms; comfortable learning new tools. 
  • Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills. 
  • Detail-oriented with an ability to take feedback and iterate quickly. 
  • A self-starter who thrives in a collaborative, mission-driven TEAM environment.
