Salary and Benefits

• Salary: $145,000 - $165,000
• Productivity bonus is: an additional $5.00 per billable patient visit, more than 1.7 patients per hour
• Retention bonuses are paid quarterly

Responsibilities

• Examine, diagnose, and treat diseases, injuries, and malformations of teeth and gums
• Treat diseases of nerve, pulp, and other dental tissues affecting oral hygiene and retention of teeth
• Fit dental appliances or provide preventive care to dental clinic patients; maintain dental records;
• Review and notify patients of diagnostic test and consultation results
• Respond to patient care tasks and phone calls consistently with good dental practice.
• The productivity standard is 1.5 patients per hour.
• 4-or 5-day work week
• 1-2 dental assistants per dentist
• Patients are assigned to individual dentists to allow for continuity of care
• Other dentist(s) in the office to allow for treatment collaboration and mentorship
• Wide variety of procedures completed in-office (composites, amalgams, dentures, partials, extractions, crown and bridge, endo, etc.)
• Medical clinic and pharmacy on site

Requirements

• State of Michigan Dentist License
• US Doctor of Dental Medicine degree
