Summary
Our busy dental practice is searching for a personable and friendly Dental Practice Manager to join us. You will be responsible for account management, HR and insurance/billing. As a Dental Practice Manager, you should demonstrate excellent organizational skills and perform well in stressful situations. Our position also requires knowledge of dental systems operations. You will manage all administrative responsibilities for front-office employees and will have other departments reporting to you.
A Dental Practice Manager is responsible for overseeing the operations of a dental office to ensure patients have an exceptional experience. Duties include patient communication, verifying insurance benefits and leading a team of office staff to promote a well-organized and efficient practice.
To be successful in this role, organization and multitasking is important. Ultimately, performing all duties in a manner that ensures the efficiency of the dental practice.
Practice Manager Duties & Responsibilities
● Monitor production and collection reports
● Maintain overhead control, staff schedules, general ledger and billing system
● Deliver direct individual and team leadership to ensure all office employees deliver outstanding customer service
● Coordinate the day-to-day execution of office practices that increase productivity and efficiency
● Respond to clinical and operational issues in a timely and professional manner
● Hire, supervise and train new employees
● Delegate tasks as required
Practice Manager Requirements
● A minimum of 1 year of dental administration experience
● Exceptional leadership and problem-solving skills
● Dedicated to delivering excellent customer service
● Friendly, professional, and highly organized
