Criminal Defense Attorney: Litigation attorney with 2 - 5 years experience needed for the 17 th Circuit/Ft. Lauderdale office of “RC4” -- The Office of Criminal Conflict and Civil Regional Counsel, 4 th DCA Region of Florida. RC4 is a state agency which provides criminal defense representation to the indigent in cases in which the public defender’s office has withdrawn due to a conflict of interest. RC4 is seeking candidates with a commitment to an assertive, client-centered representation model and to a proactive, pre-trial litigation approach to casework. Previous experience in an indigent defense organization preferred, as well as jury trial experience. Additionally, candidates should possess an ability to excel in a team environment and to meet the demands of a mid-level felonies caseload. Full-time position with state benefits.
