Job Description

Overview:

LHH is seeking an experienced Corporate Paralegal / Legal Assistant to support a corporate department within a reputable firm. You will play a crucial role in keeping our client's busy practice organized and efficient. The firm prides itself on providing a great work environment and positive culture!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft legal documents, including creating reports, memoranda, and correspondence
  • Conduct thorough legal research and gather relevant information to support corporate transactions.
  • Maintain and organize client files, ensuring all documentation is accurate and compliant with regulatory standards.
  • Prepare for client meetings by drafting minutes and resolutions, and assisting with other preparatory tasks.
  • Monitor deadlines and help ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Support corporate governance matters, including the maintenance of corporate records, entity formation and dissolution, and business licensing.
  • Assist commercial real estate attorneys with document preparation and filing as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or a paralegal certificate from an accredited institution.
  • 5+ years of experience as a corporate legal assistant or paralegal.
  • Strong understanding of corporate law and legal terminology.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research tools.
  • Ideal candidate will have experience in a large firm and seek a change of pace in a growing, dynamic environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on collaboration.

Details:

  • Employment Type: Direct Hire
  • Compensation: $60,000-$85,000 annually
  • Firm provides 100% paid-for medical and dental insurance, optional vision insurance, and 401k match.
