Job Description

Civil Construction CG – Contracts Administrator

Yonkers Contracting Company has an opportunity for and experienced Civil Construction Contracts Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate must have a minimum of 2 years of contract administration experience with complex, multi-phase, multi-million- dollar design and construction projects.

Essential Duties Include, but are not limited to:

  • Prepare and distribute contracts to subcontractors and suppliers for company projects
  • Monitor contract changes
  • Ensure all changes meet company and project specifications
  • Maintain contact with subcontractors and suppliers for outstanding contracts and insurance
  • Maintain on-going communication with Subcontractors, Suppliers and Project Managers
  • Meet required contract deadlines
  • Ensure all documents are properly executed
  • Maintain up to date contractor/supplier log
  • Ensure all contract related documents are stored according to department and project procedures

Essential Skills and Abilities include, but are not limited to:

  • General understanding of civil construction
  • Previous contract administration experience
  • Competent in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with purchasing team, subcontractors. and suppliers
  • Strong organizational abilities
  • Possess good customer service skills
