Are you a proven construction leader with a track record of delivering complex, high-value projects?

We’re partnered with a well-established and respected General Contractor in San Antonio seeking an experienced Superintendent to manage large-scale ground-up projects across the K-12, Industrial, Community Center, and Justice (including Jail) sectors . Projects typically range from $20M and above , offering the opportunity to lead meaningful, community-impacting developments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all on-site construction activities from groundbreaking through project completion
  • Manage daily site operations, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity standards are met
  • Lead, coordinate, and supervise all field personnel and subcontractors
  • Enforce safety protocols and OSHA standards, conducting site inspections and toolbox talks
  • Monitor and maintain construction schedules in collaboration with the Project Manager
  • Interpret project drawings, specifications, and contracts to ensure compliance and accuracy
  • Coordinate with inspectors, consultants, owners, and architects to resolve field issues
  • Ensure quality control and adherence to project plans and specifications
  • Maintain detailed project documentation including daily logs, progress photos, and reports
  • Assist with scheduling inspections, deliveries, and resolving material/equipment issues
  • Lead site meetings and communicate project expectations clearly to field teams

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in a Superintendent role on commercial ground-up projects
  • Proven experience managing projects valued at $20M+
  • Strong background in K-12 schools, industrial facilities, community centers, and justice/jail construction
  • In-depth knowledge of construction methods, safety protocols, and building codes
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Proficient in construction management tools and scheduling software (Procore, MS Project, etc.)
  • Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and maintain momentum on large, complex job sites
  • OSHA 30 certification preferred
