Key Responsibilities: In this rewarding part-time role, you'll provide essential care and companionship to seniors and adults with disabilities. Some of your tasks will include:
- Assisting clients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Helping clients transfer or move from one location to another within their home.
- Providing housekeeping assistance (vacuuming, dusting, mopping, laundry, and more).
- Preparing nutritious meals and snacks according to client preferences.
- Accompanying clients on errands or medical appointments.
- Offering companionship through activities like reading, puzzles, music, and conversations.
- Assisting with prescribed range of motion exercises and medication reminders.
What We're Looking For: - Experience : We value retirees who want to stay engaged and use their skills in a meaningful way. Previous experience in caregiving is required.
- Physical Ability : Must be able to lift/move 50 lbs without assistance.
- Communication Skills : Ability to read, write, and understand English.
- Requirements : Must have a valid driver's license, current automobile insurance, and pass a background check.
- Certifications : CNA license, Home Care Aide, or Personal Care Aide certifications are required.
- Personality : A compassionate and patient demeanor with a desire to give back to those in need. Must live in the South Bay area!
