CNC Machinist

We have a live opportunity for a CNC Machinist level 1 to join a market leading firearms manufacturer with a heritage leading back over a century.

Due to expansion and growth our client is actively seeking a motivated and enthusiastic CNC Machinist level 1 to join their industry leading business. The CNC Machinist level 1 will support a range of machining operations including offsets and tool changes.

Responsibilities for the CNC Machinist level 1:

- Load, run, and unload products and parts for various CNC milling or turning operations.
- Be responsible for the operating and running of multiple machines at once.
- Occasionally perform basic offset changes to machines during production to ensure standards are met in line with the blueprints.
- Ensure consistent quality by periodically visually and physically inspecting the components.
- Perform preventative maintenance where required and possible.
- Other tasks may be assigned by the Production Supervisor where necessary.

Experience for the CNC Machinist level 1:

- 3 years minimum experience in a machine shop environment.
- CNC or related courses and training highly desirable.
- Diploma in engineering related discipline desirable.
- Confident reading and working to technical blueprints.
- Motivated and positive attitude.

Work pattern for the CNC Machinist level 1:

- 2nd shift either 14:00/22:00 or 15:00/23:00
