This role is not just about HR—it’s about building a performance-driven, growth-minded culture from the inside out. The CPO will align people strategy with business goals, scale leadership systems, and ensure that our company is an exceptional place to work as we grow from 450+ employees and beyond.

This is a transformative leadership opportunity for someone with the presence, execution skills, and strategic vision to elevate a growing healthcare organization.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Has a proven track record leading HR or people functions through significant growth

  • Thrives in fast-paced, mission-driven environments; prefers to build rather than inherit

  • Understands organizational design and change management deeply

  • Acts as a culture architect—can unify fragmented systems and people under one clear strategy

  • Is growth-oriented, visionary, and sees beyond day-to-day operations

  • Comfortable rolling out major operational changes—even with resistance

  • Presents well, connects with diverse stakeholders, and builds trust quickly

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and unify all People Operations under one cohesive strategy

  • Develop and oversee HR leaders (4–5 direct reports, 40-person team)

  • Build scalable systems for hiring, onboarding, training, and performance

  • Drive retention efforts across departments by improving engagement and leadership practices

  • Align talent strategy with business growth, in close collaboration with the CEO

  • Design and optimize the organizational structure for clarity and accountability

  • Ensure compliance while maintaining a human-centered, growth-focused culture

  • Coach managers and directors to be stronger leaders and communicators

  • Optimize all HR-related systems, policies, and tools for operational efficiency

Qualifications and Must-Haves:

  • experience in HR/People leadership roles

  • Experience in healthcare, home care, or related people-driven industries preferred

  • Proven success implementing HR/People systems that scale with the organization

  • Ability to build strong culture and retention strategies from the ground up

  • High emotional intelligence and strong communication skills
