Job Description

Job Title: Chief of Staff

Location: Hybrid, NYC-based preferred

About Brij:

We are a fast-growing software startup based in NYC, dedicated to helping omnichannel consumer brands bridge the gap between online and offline audiences through our pioneering Retail Intelligence Platform. Our customers include some of the world’s best brands, including Feastables, Health-Ade, Heineken, Momofuku, Skullcandy and Gozney.

As a lean and diverse team, we thrive on a bias towards action, extreme ownership, and a customer-first mindset. If you're eager to work in a high-growth, fast-paced environment where your contributions will have a real impact, this role is for you.

The Role:

As the Chief of Staff, you will play a key role in supporting the CEO and leadership team by managing administrative tasks, assisting with sales development activities, coordinating events, and crafting strategic content. This role is ideal for someone looking to gain cross-functional experience at a high-growth startup, with exposure to executive decision-making, sales, operations, and events.

Your role will focus on streamlining CEO operations, driving efficiency in sales outreach, organizing events, and crafting compelling content that supports our brand and growth efforts.

What You’ll Do:

  • Executive Support: Manage calendars, coordinate meetings, and assist with communication on behalf of the CEO.
  • Content Creation: Draft executive-level communications, sales enablement materials, blog posts, and investor updates.
  • Sales & Business Development Support: Assist with SDR-style outreach, including prospecting, LinkedIn engagement, and email sequencing.
  • Operational Efficiency: Organize internal meetings, track key action items, and follow up on initiatives across teams.
  • Market Research & Strategy: Conduct research on industry trends, competitors, and potential opportunities to inform business decisions.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales, marketing, and customer success teams to align on priorities and execution.
  • Events Management:
  • Plan and execute intimate brand-building events in NYC, ensuring seamless logistics, guest experience, and brand alignment.
  • Support the coordination and management of trade shows and industry events, including booth setup, vendor communications, and team schedules.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to maximize event ROI, including pre-event outreach, on-site networking, and post-event follow-ups.

Who You Are:

  • 1-3 years of experience in operations, sales, marketing, executive support, or event planning, preferably at a startup.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive—you thrive in fast-paced environments.
  • A strong writer and communicator with experience crafting compelling messaging.
  • Comfortable with CRM tools (HubSpot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo, Clay) or willing to learn quickly.
  • Tech-savvy and adaptable, eager to take on new challenges and learn fast.
  • A team player who embraces feedback and over-communicates in Slack for alignment.
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities with confidence.
  • Experience in event planning, vendor management, or logistics coordination is a plus.

Why Join Us?

  • Opportunity to work directly with the Brij CEO and leadership team.
  • Exposure to multiple facets of a fast-growing SaaS startup.
  • Competitive salary, stock options, and room for rapid career growth.
  • A high-energy, collaborative, and entrepreneurial culture.
  • Fun team events, offsites, and networking opportunities.

We’re looking for someone who is hungry to learn, excited to wear multiple hats, and ready to grow alongside us. If this sounds like you, let’s talk!
