Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled individual to join our team as a Forklift driver using the Cherry Picker and Reach. This role is essential in ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse distribution processes. The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse management, materials handling, and heavy equipment operation. You will be responsible for various tasks including order picking, shipping and receiving, and maintaining safety standards in compliance with OSHA regulations.

Duties

• Operate warehouse equipment such as the cherry picker forklift and reach.
• Perform order picking duties using RF scanners to ensure accurate inventory management.
• Manage shipping and receiving processes to maintain efficient workflow within the warehouse.
• Conduct heavy lifting tasks as required, adhering to safety protocols to prevent injuries.
• Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory levels and streamline operations.
• Supervise warehouse staff when necessary, providing guidance on best practices for materials handling and equipment operation.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment to enhance productivity and safety.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations regarding equipment operation and workplace safety.

Skills

• Proven experience in warehouse distribution and management.
• Proficiency in operating heavy equipment including forklifts such as the cherry picker and reach forklift, and pallet jacks.
• Strong mechanical knowledge related to warehouse operations.
• Familiarity with RF scanners and warehouse management systems.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and operate machinery safely.
• Experience in shipping & receiving processes is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of OSHA standards related to warehouse environments.
• Previous experience as a warehouse supervisor is a plus.
