- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to hospital policies.
- Communicate positively and promote teamwork.
- Demonstrate competency in the scrub role and assist the surgical team.
- Set up and break down the operating room, ensuring safety and cleanliness.
- Handle instruments carefully and report any damage.
- Participate in process improvement and staff meetings.
Qualifications include completion of an accredited Surgical Technology Program, current national certification, and CPR certification. Pediatric scrub tech experience is preferred.
