Maxx Contracting is seeking skilled and experienced Carpenters to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in a range of carpentry tasks, with a focus on residential projects, and will have the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform various carpentry duties for residential renovations and construction projects.
- Build and install decks, fences, retaining walls, and other carpentry work.
- Repair and maintain existing decks and fences.
- Construct both concrete and wood retaining walls with precision and attention to detail.
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations while on the job site.
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain professionalism at all times.
- Ensure high-quality standards and workmanship are maintained throughout the project.
Ideal Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a carpenter, with a strong background in residential construction and renovations.
- Expertise in deck repairs, fence installation, and the construction of concrete and wood retaining walls.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
- Strong knowledge of building codes and safety regulations.
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and self-motivated.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Own transportation and tools are preferred.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Experience with other trades (electrical, plumbing, etc.) is a plus.
