Exciting opportunity! A leading, high growth global investment management firm is seeking a Senior Data Leader to lead data strategy, governance, and reporting across their various platforms at their Corporate Headquarters in New York. This role is perfect for a leader with 10+ years in investment management and hands-on ESG/private markets experience.

*Hybrid 3 days/week in office*

*$185-$200K TOTAL comp (base + full annual bonus)

This is a unique opportunity to partner with ESG, investment, and technology teams in building an ESG data framework that supports compliance, investor reporting, and strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and implementation of ESG data strategy and governance.
• Oversee ESG data collection, validation, and quality control across private markets.
• Partner with IT to build ESG reporting infrastructure and integrate third-party data providers.
• Manage ESG-related projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and regulatory requirements.
• Work with compliance and investment teams to embed ESG into core processes.

Ideal Candidate:

• 10+ years' experience in capital markets or investment management.
• Strong background in data governance, operations, or information management.
• Hands-on ESG data experience in private markets (Lending, PE, or Real Estate).
• Skilled with SQL, BI tools (Tableau/Power BI), Excel; Python a plus.
• Excellent communicator with proven stakeholder and project management skills.
