Job Description

We are a growing, boutique white collar defense firm, looking to bring on an Associate Attorney to join our team. Specifically, we are looking for an Attorney with 2-6 years of criminal defense experience. This role is hybrid, with the exception of court appearances and client meetings.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of criminal defense experience (previous DA or AG experience ideal)
• Preferable: Previous white collar criminal defense experience
• Proven experience handling misdemeanor and felony cases
• Candidates without criminal law experience are encouraged to apply, but compensation with commensurate with experience

Responsibilities:

• Requesting discovery and conducting case investigations
• Interviewing police officers and witnesses
• Filing and arguing pretrial motions
• Handling misdemeanor and felony trials
• Working closely with investigators
• Attending court appearances in superior, justice, and city courts
• Communicating with clients to guide them through criminal procedures and keeping them informed on case status
