As an Art Associate Creative Director, you will tackle marketing challenges, nurture client relationships, and lead a talented team of designers, writers, animators, and engineers. To excel in this role, you should have expertise in marketing, media, and digital production, while embracing a collaborative creative process to deliver successful advertising solutions.

This fully remote position requires comfort in working around Pacific Standard Time (PST) business hours and occasional travel may be necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of insightful creative concepts and their production, aiming to exceed client expectations.
  • Emphasize Visual Design and Art Direction for social and digital projects, particularly on limited budgets.
  • Cultivate positive relationships with client contacts, becoming a trusted expert on brand culture and expectations.
  • Collaborate closely with Design and Motion teams to streamline processes for high-quality output.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with team members and production partners.
  • Team up with an ACD and Copy to create compelling storytelling across various media.
  • Oversee the development and presentation of pitch materials for major campaigns.
  • Ensure the highest quality of strategic and creative deliverables for each brand relationship.
  • Set high standards for work quality and articulate ambitious creative opportunities.
  • Maintain positive interactions with cross-functional teams to ensure concept viability.
  • Mentor junior creative staff and foster a culture of collaboration and knowledge sharing.
  • Promote a positive and innovative creative culture through teamwork and leadership.

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in a creative agency or production setting, working on successful ad campaigns.
  • 2+ years of leadership experience managing individuals or teams.
  • Hands-on design expertise is essential; you should be able to provide precise design feedback.
  • Experience in brand design and/or motion design is a plus.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing your problem-solving skills in diverse industries and project tones, particularly digital and social-first formats. Broadcast experience is beneficial.
  • Deep understanding of how UI features influence the product experience.
  • Familiarity with the evolving AI landscape is advantageous.
  • Capable of generating innovative ideas to promote tech services and products.
  • Experience with tech industries or recognized brands is a bonus.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for video shoots and events (estimated at less than 10% of the year).
  • Ability to operate effectively within Pacific Standard Time (PST).
