Salary Expectation: 85-100K base + commission


Five years of Advertising/Media Sales Experience REQUIRED

A Media Advertising Company is looking for someone to sell advertising to small, medium, and large companies in the Greater Boston area. Their State-of-The-Art advertising process has helped businesses of all shapes and sizes target new customers to generate superior results.


Responsibilities:

• Provide support for clients by learning about and satisfying their needs.
• Make cold calls or reaching out to prospects.
• Follow up with prospects several times throughout the sales cycle to ensure needs are being met.
• Present and demonstrate the value of products and services to prospective buyers.
• Compile and analyze data to find trends.
• Develop sales strategies.
• Stay current on company offerings and industry trends.
• Maintain a database of contact information.
• Handle complaints and negotiations.

Qualifications

• 5-15 years of experience in advertising B2B sales REQUIRED, small to mid-sized accounts preferred
• Documented sales success
• Knowledge and understanding of the local advertising industry in the Boston area
• The drive and energy to manage multiple accounts while looking for new opportunities
• Excellent presentation, verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to understand client needs and handle the negotiation process
• Strong time management skills
• Computer skills, especially MS Office and CRM software
• Reliable Transportation and Valid Drivers License
• Able to travel in the local territory up to 85% of the time
• Ability to pass a background check and drug testing, no DWIs in the last 10 years
