Position Overview

We are seeking a confident and independent Adult or Family Nurse Practitioner to join a primary care practice in the Bronx, NY. This position allows for autonomy in clinical decision-making while working collaboratively within a supportive team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough physical exams and document medical histories
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests including labs and imaging
• Develop and manage individualized treatment plans
• Prescribe medications and evaluate therapeutic responses
• Educate patients on health promotion and disease prevention
• Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and care teams to deliver coordinated care
• Ensure adherence to clinical safety standards and medical protocols

Requirements

Qualifications

• Education: Master’s degree in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited institution
• Licensure/Certification:
• Active New York State Nurse Practitioner license
• Board Certification as an Adult or Family Nurse Practitioner
• Experience:
• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in a primary care or family medicine setting
• Must be capable of managing patient encounters independently
• Technical Skills:
• Competence in diagnostic testing, chronic disease management, and EMR systems
• Soft Skills:
• Strong clinical judgment, empathy, cultural competency, and effective communication
