About the Role

As an Admissions Counselor, you'll be more than just a recruiter-you'll be a mentor, a guide, and the face of South Dakota Mines for many prospective students and their families. You'll manage a specific recruitment territory, leading students through every stage of the admissions process, from initial contact to enrollment. Whether you're on campus or representing us at a college fair, you'll play a crucial role in shaping our student body.

What You'll Do
  • Connect with prospective students, their families, school counselors, and teachers to share the unique advantages of a South Dakota Mines education.
  • Provide detailed information about our programs, campus life, and financial aid options.
  • Travel to high schools, college fairs, and other events to meet with potential students.
  • Host prospective students and their families when they schedule a visit to the South Dakota Mines campus, ensuring they have a memorable and informative experience.
  • Assist students through the application and enrollment process, ensuring they have a smooth transition to university life.
