We are offering a contract for an Accounts Receivable Supervisor role in the insurance industry, located in Plantation, Florida. The role involves overseeing and optimizing the performance of a team focused on processing invoices, making collections, and reconciling payments.

Responsibilities
• Lead the team of specialists in Cash and Collections, ensuring optimal performance through training, coaching, and guidance.
• Efficiently generate and deliver precise invoices according to set timelines.
• Achieve monthly collection targets and address any escalations in the Collections process.
• Apply and reconcile payments to customer accounts, ensuring monthly targets are met.
• Foster and maintain positive relationships with customers by addressing inquiries, disputes, and payment concerns professionally while upholding core values.
• Constantly assess and improve Accounts Receivable processes and systems, suggesting enhancements to boost efficiency and efficacy.
• Prepare team leads to sustain efficient operations during both planned and unplanned absences.
• Compile and share regular, month-end reports with senior management on the status of Accounts Receivable, Cash flow, and Collections activities.
• Tackle special projects as needed.• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Accounts Receivable or related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a must.
• Strong understanding and practical knowledge of accounting functions.
• Extensive experience in Accounts Receivable (AR) is required.
• Familiarity with billing functions and processes.
• Experience with cash activity and check processing.
• Knowledge of Accounts Receivables systems is essential.
• Experience with Legacy Systems is beneficial.
• Proven track record in B2B collections.
• Ability to effectively resolve customer issues.
