Pay: $28.00 - $36.00/hr DOE

Location: Englewood, CO

Position type: Evaluation hire or Direct hire

Schedule: full time, 40 hours/wk minimum

Express Employment Professionals in Centennial is searching for a qualified A&P Technician to work for a local, rapidly growing maintenance hangar in Englewood, CO. The A&P Technician will be responsible performing maintenance on both turboprop and jet aircraft in the general aviation arena. This person will be required to make decisions related to the proper techniques and components needed to perform quality and efficient work.

Duties/Highlights:

• Asses, diagnose and troubleshoot a variety of engine and airframe maintenance issues
• Make decisions related to proper techniques and components needed to perform work
• Domestic and international travel at times to recover or preprare aircraft for secure transport from customer facility
• Maintain standard maintenance practices sufficient to coordinate and/or direct maintenance operations when needed
• Work on a variety of aircrafts including Learjets, Citation, Gulfstream and Hawker (a plus)
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment

What we look for:

• Learjet, Citations, Gulfstream & Hawker aircraft experience preferred
• Technical License – A&P or 6 years aircraft maintenance background
• 6 years hands-on aircraft maintenance experience in the general aviation and corporate aircraft is a requirement
• Ability to read blueprints or schematics
• Understanding of all aircraft manufacturers Maintenance Manuals, Illustrated Parts Catalogs, Structural Repair Manuals and Service Bulletins is a must
• Must have own hand tools to complete maintenance tasks
• Strong understanding of basic industry safety protocols especially in the aviation field
• Proficiency in all aircraft manufacturer’s support manuals to allow complete research into a repair program or maintenance functions
• Strong communication skills, written and verbal
